How should I submit my resume?
Please submit your resume online via our Careers section, using the Current Job Openings link. When you apply online, your resume is sent directly to our recruitment database, which is accessed by human resources and hiring managers in URS offices worldwide.
How can I edit my candidate profile or apply for more jobs in the future?
To edit your profile, login under “Registered Users” and click “Edit Profile.” To apply for another job, click “Apply" when you find the job for which you would like to submit your resume.

If I am interested in more than one position, how do I apply for all of them?
If you are qualified and interested in two or more openings and you have already submitted your resume through the Job Opportunities page, you will simply need to login as a registered user with your existing user name and password. Then, you may search for the job posting(s) for which you qualify, and click on the “Apply” button. If you are not a registered user, please create a new user account. This will only take a few minutes to complete. Once you have completed your candidate profile, you may then submit your resume/profile to multiple job openings for which you qualify.
How can I apply for an internship with URS?
Internships are offered on a formal and informal basis at many office locations. You may search by Position Type, "Internship", from our Job Search main page. Or, please visit our Locations page where you will find our office locations and phone numbers. Select the location(s) in which you are interested and contact them directly.
How will I know if my resume has been received?
If you submit your resume properly online, you will receive an immediate acknowledgement on your screen. You will also receive two confirmation emails. The first email will confirm your user name and password to our career center. The second email will confirm successful completion of your candidate profile. No further information is required from you at this point. However, if you do not receive the second email confirming your candidate submittal, please login as a registered user, click “Edit Profile”, and resubmit your profile details.
What is the status of my resume?
When you have submitted your resume, an appropriate hiring authority will contact you directly if there is interest in your qualifications for the job.

How does the interview process work?
Your initial interview will be conducted by a Human Resources Representative or a member of the hiring team in the department or office to which you've applied. In subsequent interviews, you may meet with several other supervisors or managers before a hiring decision is made. Additional interviews may require more than one visit to the office. References will be checked and an employment background check conducted before an offer of employment is extended.

What are the Company's educational requirements?
It depends on the position. Generally, we seek applicants with at least a bachelor’s degree. Some positions, however, require a master’s degree. Virtual Location typically means the successful candidate may have the option to work from more than one specific URS/EG&G office location within that region. However, sometimes Virtual Location means the successful candidate may choose to work from any URS/EG&G office location in that respective country. More details should be available on most Job Descriptions as to the work locations available for that job.
What does the "Action" column refer to against positions for which I've applied?
The "Action" column for positions to which you applied refers to a pre-screening questionnaire that HR and Recruiters may need you to complete. If the "Action" column is blank, you have either already completed the questionnaire, or the position does not require you complete a questionnaire.
